2 UV floodlights
The dedicated UV Party event type uses 2 UV floodlights only. The normal Spider lights and moving-head option are not added to this fixed UV setup.
Keighley UV Party DJ hire with a dedicated 2-floodlight UV lighting setup and the music planned around your celebration and guest list.
The UV Party option is a specific event setup rather than a normal party with extra ultraviolet lights added. Selecting UV Party locks the lighting to 2 UV floodlights only, creating a cleaner theme for white, fluorescent and UV-reactive colours.
A quick check of the room before booking can make the theme work much better. It is useful to know whether bright ceiling lights can be reduced, whether daylight is likely to enter the space and where the main guest area will be.
A Keighley UV party works best when the dedicated two-floodlight setup can be placed in an area with controlled ambient lighting. If the event is for younger guests, bright white clothing and a few fluorescent decorations can make the theme clear without needing the entire room blacked out. Choose a music brief separately from the lighting theme.

Reducing bright ambient light gives white, fluorescent and UV-reactive colours more contrast and makes the theme easier to see.
White clothing, neon accessories and fluorescent decorations can help guests and room details respond more clearly to the ultraviolet light.
Ultraviolet lighting is most noticeable where there is enough darkness for the reactive colours to stand out. The room does not need to be pitch black, but bright venue lighting can reduce the contrast and should be considered when planning the event.
For a function room in Keighley or around Steeton and Oakworth, ask whether house lights can be dimmed and whether daylight comes through uncovered windows. Confirm the exact setup area, guest numbers and venue name and postcode. The dedicated UV Party booking supplies two UV floodlights only; additional moving-head lighting is not part of that event type.
The party theme should not force the music into one narrow style. Birthdays, family events and private parties can all use the UV setup while the set itself is planned from the organiser’s favourites, the age range and what works on the dancefloor.
You do not need to transform every part of the room. White clothing, neon accessories, fluorescent table details or a few UV-reactive decorations can be enough to make the lighting feel deliberate rather than accidental.
Eligible UV Party bookings use the normal Aidy Smith guest-count packages. The dedicated 2-floodlight UV lighting setup is included at no extra lighting charge. Travel and optional extras are handled separately where they apply.
