25+ years behind the decks, with one clear promise: you deal directly with the DJ who will plan, prepare and perform at your event.
I’m Aidy Smith, a Bradford-based DJ available for bookings across Yorkshire, with 25+ years of experience. From your first enquiry to the final track of the night, you deal directly with me.
That means the music, timings, venue access and equipment are agreed with the same person who arrives to perform. There is no hand-off and no uncertainty about who will be behind the decks.
My bookings now cover two clear areas: broad music nights and events under the Aidy Smith name, and specialist drum and bass DJ hire as Audio Demon.
The two names keep very different bookings clear while giving every client the same direct, experienced service.
Private parties, weddings, engagements, anniversaries, bars, pubs and corporate events with music shaped around the people in the room.
Expect current pop, dance, club classics, 80s, 90s, 2000s and agreed requests—balanced around the event rather than forced into a fixed playlist.
Explore music nights and events →Liquid, jump-up and tech drum and bass sets for promoters, clubs, soundsystems and dedicated D&B nights, with suitable Audio Demon bookings available across the UK.
The Audio Demon name also covers original production, radio history and releases through my own label, Mista Smith Digital.
Explore Audio Demon →A successful night is not only about owning music or equipment. It is about judging the room, changing direction at the right moment and keeping the event moving without making it feel forced.
