WEDDING RECEPTIONS
If your wedding DJ has cancelled, share the first-dance song, running order, key announcements and evening reception times. I'll also need to know about the venue's access arrangements and sound limits.
I'll confirm whether the music brief and setup can be covered before you make any plans around my availability.
BIRTHDAYS & PRIVATE PARTIES
Tell me the age range, must-play tracks, music styles and whether you'll need a microphone for speeches or announcements. Guest numbers and venue size help establish the right sound and lighting options.
If you've already made a playlist, it can help speed up a short-notice handover.
PUBS, VENUES & CORPORATE EVENTS
Venue teams can share load-in times, performance schedule, equipment already installed and any noise or access restrictions. That helps determine if a replacement is practical at short notice.

Confirm whether the venue already has sound and lighting, and the type of music needed. I will confirm what can realistically be supplied.

Can you replace a DJ on the same day?
Possibly, if I am free, can reach the venue in time and can meet its equipment requirements. Please call first; a calendar listing alone is not a confirmation.
Can I book emergency DJ cover online?
For a future date, use the normal booking form to check eligibility, pricing and payment. Same-day jobs must be discussed directly before anything is confirmed.
Can you bring speakers and lighting?
Options include a suitable DJ setup, PA, lighting, booth and microphone where required. The available equipment and setup time must be confirmed for your venue before acceptance.
Which areas can you cover?
I am based in Bradford and consider suitable emergency bookings in Leeds and across Yorkshire. Travel time, access and existing commitments determine whether I can reach your venue.
Is this different from the DJ Cover handover service?
Yes. This page is for organisers and venues who urgently need a replacement. DJs arranging an introduction or handover for their client should use the DJ Cover & Booking Handover service.
