Early evening
Match the music to arrivals, food, drinks or the first part of the venue schedule.
Leeds venues can have very different access, parking and closing arrangements on 31 December. The useful starting point is the complete schedule: when the room is available, when the DJ starts, what happens at midnight and when music must finish.
That lets the setup and quote match the event you are actually running rather than a generic New Year package.
The countdown is important, but the hours before and after it decide whether the whole night works.
Match the music to arrivals, food, drinks or the first part of the venue schedule.
Move into the strongest part of the party as the room becomes busier.
Handle the countdown, agreed announcement and chosen midnight moment cleanly.
Keep the set moving for as long as the agreed venue finish allows.
You can send the important songs and styles before the event, but the set still needs room to respond to the guests. New Year's Eve can include a wide mix of ages and music tastes, especially at private and company events.
The first four hours of DJ performance are included and additional time is £50 per hour. Central Leeds bookings can also have the current flat £50 logistics fee for inner-city travel, parking and more complex load-ins.
Optional subwoofers are £50 each where the venue and event benefit from additional low-end support.
