Private parties
A guest-led set for a hired room or private venue with a clear midnight plan.
Plan the whole evening
Build towards midnight without wasting the early set
A good New Year's Eve booking is more than one song at midnight. The early part of the night needs to settle the room, the busier part needs enough momentum, and the countdown needs to arrive cleanly without making the whole set feel forced.
Send any must-plays, preferred genres and important timings beforehand, then the set can develop naturally around the crowd.
ArrivalStart with music that suits how the venue fills.
PeakUse the busiest part of the night to build energy before midnight.
MidnightAgree the countdown and any announcement in advance.
AfterKeep the dance floor moving rather than treating midnight as the end of the event.
One clear midnight plan
Confirm the countdown before the event
If the venue has its own announcement, screen, fireworks, live act or bar promotion at midnight, that needs to be known beforehand. The DJ set can then support the venue plan instead of competing with it.
CountdownAgree who is leading it and how it should be introduced.
Midnight trackChoose one in advance if a particular song matters to you.
AnnouncementsConfirm any venue or host messages that need to happen around midnight.
FinishKnow how long the party continues after the countdown.

Interaction around the countdown
Keep guests connected as the room builds towards midnight.
New Year’s Eve has a clear running order and one moment everyone is waiting for. On suitable Bradford bookings, the Live DJ Room can add requests, polls and guest interaction around that structure without interfering with the planned midnight countdown.
The DJ remains responsible for the music and timing, while guests get another way to be part of the event before and after midnight.

Yes. If you want a countdown, confirm the venue schedule and how you want midnight handled beforehand so it can be built into the running order rather than improvised at the last second.
The set can be planned around your guests, with favourite tracks and requests used alongside music that keeps the dance floor moving. There is no fixed New Year playlist that has to be used for every event.
New Year’s Eve prices include the £100 premium-date surcharge. Suitable bookings use these guest-based packages: Gold £349.99 up to 100 guests, Platinum £424.99 for 101–200, and Diamond £499.99 for 201–300. The first four hours are included; additional time is £50 per hour.
Include the complete DJ start and finish time when enquiring. Additional Aidy Smith performance time beyond the included four hours is currently £50 per hour, so a later finish can be priced clearly before booking.
New Year's Eve is a fixed high-demand date, so it is sensible to check as soon as the venue is confirmed rather than waiting until December.
